To this end Common Ground NYC develops and distributes literature that defines the principle of land value taxation and offers persuasive evidence of its efficacy. It also engages in direct presentations to interested audiences.
CGNYC keeps locally elected officials informed of the many benefits of Land Value Taxation and advocates for the passage of bills intended to move property assessments toward a truer reflection of market value and toward the reducing incentives to withhold valuable urban land from productive use.
